If you are seeking to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, or sun damaged skin, Ozarks Dermatology Specialists offers several treatment options to choose from.

Full Face Resurfacing

Full-face resurfacing utilizes a high-powered laser to rejuvenate the entire surface of the face for a more youthful appearance. At Ozarks Dermatology Specialists, we use the Lumenis CO2 fractional ablative laser to effectively target both deep and shallow wrinkles on the cheeks, around the eyes, mouth, and forehead.

Prior to this procedure, topical and injectable lidocaine are administered to ensure patient comfort. For the best results, two treatments spaced six months apart are recommended. However, significant improvement can be achieved with only one treatment.

You should expect one week of downtime for healing and must avoid direct contact with sunlight for several weeks following this procedure.

Fine Lines

For fine lines and improvement in mild pigment irregularities, the ActiveFx treatment using the CO2 fractional ablative laser is a good option. Targeting only the upper layers of the skin, this procedure has less downtime and is effective for mild corrections in complexion.

Red and Brown Sunspots

To eliminate or reduce the appearance of red and brown sunspots, the Excel® V laser is an appropriate and effective treatment. There is little to no downtime following this procedure and 2-3 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart are recommended.

Skin Rejuvenation

For those seeking to reverse the effects of aging, treat sun damaged areas, or to improve the overall health and appearance of their skin, photo rejuvenation is recommended.

Photo rejuvenation uses a targeted laser to stimulate collagen growth in the affected areas. This helps reduce fine lines, smooths skin texture, and restores a youthful glow. A series of six treatments spaced one month apart are recommended and there is no downtime following the procedure.

Ozarks Dermatology Specialists uses the highly effective Genesis X laser treatment system for photo rejuvenation.

These treatments are considered elective procedures and not covered by most insurance providers. Prices, as well as post-treatment care, will be discussed at the time of consultation.
